Ingredients For butterscotch yams

  • 6 md
    yams or 2 (17 oz) cans
  • 1/2 c
    karo syrup (dark or light) ( i use light maple syrup)
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar ( i use splenda brown sugar)
  • 1/4 c
    cream, canned
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make butterscotch yams

  • 1
    arrange yams in single layer in 9x13 inch baking dish. in heavy 2 quart saucepan combine remaining ingredients. stirring constantly, bring to a boil.

    pour over yams and bake in 325 oven for 30 minutes, basting frequently.
