bread & butter pickles

I've been canning these pickles for close to 30 years - they are a family favorite. Received the recipe from my mother in law. I generally double the recipe.

2cucumbers, thinly sliced

1medium onion, sliced

1 cvinegar

1 csugar

1 Tbspcoarse salt

1 tspmustard seed

1/2 tspcelery seed

How To Make bread & butter pickles

1In large saucepan, mix together cucumber, and onion; pour in spices. Stir in vinegar. Bring to full boil. Pack in sterilized jars, leaving 1/2" head space and seal. Process 10 minutes – 2 pints
