My sister Carole gave me this recipe and I have been making them in the summers. My neighbors and friends love them. It's so easy. I find cute jars and place a fun label I make on my computer when I give as gifts.

Ingredients For bread & butter pickles

2 cthin sliced cucumbers

1 mdthin sliced onion

1 csugar

1/2 cwhite vinegar

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspmustard seed

1/4 tspcelery seed

1/4 tsptumeric
How To Make bread & butter pickles

1Mix all in a 2 quart microwaveable safe dish with cover.

2Cook on high for 7-10 minutes. Stir two times while cooking.

3Let cool and refrigerate.

4Will keep in refrigerator for weeks or freezer. I give as gifts during summer months. Great to put on burgers or just eat by themselves.
