I got this recipe many years ago and have tweaked it a little to my husband's taste (and mine). Hope you like it :)

Ingredients For boston baked beans

2 cdried navy beans, soaked overnight

1/2 lbbacon, uncooked and chopped; i use maple flavor (i have also used leftover diced honey ham, for a change)

1onion, peeled and chopped (or diced; your preference)

4 Tbspmolasses (i like dark, but both are good)

1/2 tspdry mustard (i use colman's original english)

1 tspeach, salt and pepper (more or less, to your liking)
How To Make boston baked beans

1Soak beans in water overnight. Drain.

2Mix together all ingredients in slow cooker.

3Add enough water to cover.

4Cook on high for about 8 hours; stirring frequently.
