My Neighbor made these every year on 4th of July. People made a meal of only these.

Ingredients For best in the west barbecue beans

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 c
    barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 4 Tbsp
    mustard
  • 4 Tbsp
    molasses
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 can
    16 ounce red beans
  • 2 can
    16 ounce pork and beans
  • 2 can
    16 ounce butter beans

How To Make best in the west barbecue beans

  • 1
    Brown beef and onion and drain. Combine and add all other ingredients except beans and stir. Add beans and stir. bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Use 9X13 glass pan or bean pot. 20-24 servings.
