Why do I love Basil? It is because it adds so much flavor and taste to so many recipes! I could almost eat it alone..well almost alone but it's just delicious when added to many things!! Save this butter in your refrigerator or in your freezer in small amounts..that way, when you need it, you won't have to measure. Also, you will not need to defrost from your freezer, the whole amount at once. **Don't forget to LABEL your containers. **This is not my recipe, I copied it from some other site, I am so sorry I do not know which one. I have made it and reeeallly enjoyed!

1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper

How To Make basil butter

1Place garlic, basil, and pepper in the bowl of a food processor. Process until the garlic is in small bits.

2Add the butter, and process just to mix together.

3Spoon into container, and refrigerate until firm.
