Ingredients For spiced fruit compote, ma

    29 oz cans cling peaches
  • 2
    3" long cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground allspice
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 2
    29 oz cans pear halves
  • 17 oz
    can figs
  • 1/2 c
    brandy
  • 3 md
    bananas

How To Make spiced fruit compote, ma

  • 1
    Drain syrup from peaches into saucepan. Stir in cinnamon sticks, allspice, ginger and nutmeg. Heat to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 min. Remove and cool. In large fruit bowl combine fruit and brandy. Pour peach syrup mixture over fruit, toss gently and cover in fridge overnight. Stir in bananas just before serving.
