this another recipe I gathers from some long forgotten source, posting so some where else besides a pices of paper floating around

Ingredients For spiced apple sticks

  • 10 md
    apples
  • 3 qt
    water
  • 3 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 2/3 c
    water
  • 2 tsp
    cloves
  • 1 1/2 stick
    cinnamon

How To Make spiced apple sticks

  • 1
    wash, core, peel and cut apples into 8th, put in to 3qt water and vinegar
  • 2
    tie cloves and cinnamon into a cheese cloth then combine with rest if ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to a boil, then add drained apples and bring back to boil for 3 minutes
  • 3
    pack into pint jars leaving 1/4" head space, process in hot water bath 15 minutes
