Ingredients For roasted butternut squash & apples

  • 2 lb
    butternut squash, peeled, seeded, quartered and cut into cubes
  • 3
    apples, peeled, core removed and cut into chunks
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/4 c
    raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    whole wheat white flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg

How To Make roasted butternut squash & apples

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a glass baking dish with butter flavor cooking spray.

    Put squash cubes in a large baking dish. Place apples on top and then sprinkle with nuts and raisins.

    Mix the flour, salt, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and sprinkle on top. Toss with 2 Tbsp. canola oil. Bake 40 -50 minutes.
