Mother made this every Thanksgiving and Christmas as a side for her turkey, one year when she left the cooking up to us I made it she didn't like mine and insisted that I put something in it that I shouldn't. (I did it was celery she never let me forget it.

2 cfresh cranberrys

1/2 cwater

3/4 csugars

1/2 boxcherry jello ( small box)

1 tsporange zest

2 Tbsporange juice

1/4 cpecans (chopped )
How To Make mothers cranberry sauce

1In a large sauce pan put cranberries and water. Cook on med. Stirring often.

2When the berries and water come to a simmer and berries begin to pop add sugar , jello and orange juice.

3When berries are done popping remove from heat add orange zest and pecans mix well let cool.
