Ingredients For blue plum chutney

3/4 ccider vinegar

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

4 chalved and pitted blue plums
-
3/4 craisins
-
1/3 cchopped onions
-
grated rind and juice of 1 lemon

1/3 cfinely chopped preserved ginger

3 clovegarlic,finely chopped

1 Tbspmustard seed
-
1/2 tspcrushed red pepper
-
2 tspsalt
-
1 tspallspice, ground
How To Make blue plum chutney

1In a heavy stainless steel saucepan bring vinegar to a boil and stir in brown sugar.

2Add the plums,raisins,onions,rind and juice of lemon,ginger,garlic,mustard seed,red pepper,salt and allspice. Simmer about 1 hour, or until thickened.

3Pour into clean jars to within 1/2 inch of the top and cap. Process in a hot water bath for 5 minutes
