"This Secret-Ingredient Chocolate Frosting is super healthy and is paleo, dairy-free, sugar-free, and deelish--great right off the spoon...."

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp (150 ml) sweet potato purée (homemade or canned are fine; be sure there is no added sugar. Use pumpkin and additional sweetener for a lower-carb option.)
1/2 cup (40 g) coconut sugar (or use a lower-carb sweetener if need be. Xylitol would be a good option.)
25-35 drops plain or vanilla liquid stevia, to taste (This Homemade Liquid Stevia will work as well.)
2 tsp (10 ml) pure vanilla extract
pinch fine sea salt (Adrienne recommends Real Salt)
1/4 cup (25 g) raw cacao powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, carob powder, or a combination. Use carob for AIP.
2.5 ounces (65 g) good quality unsweetened chocolate or dairy-free chocolate chips (if you can tolerate some sugar). These homemade chocolate or carob chips would work great---make them with carob for AIP. )
1/4 cup (60 ml) smooth natural cashew butter; or sunflower butter or sesame tahini for nut-free. Use coconut butter for AIP. (here's how to make your own nut or seed butters or tahini, and here's how to make your own coconut butter)
2 Tbsp (30 ml) coconut oil, preferably organic
