1 & 3/4 cup water (plus additional if needed)
1 tablespoon agar agar flakes or 1 teaspoon agar agar powder
4 large carrots (about 1 lb), peeled and cut into chunks

2-inch section of fresh rosemary stem (with leaves)

1/2 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
