1 lb chicken, cooked and diced

1 lb smoked sausage, sliced in 1/4 inch

1 cup chicken broth
•
1 cup water

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
•
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

1 teaspoon dried basil
•
1 teaspoon salt (could cut back a little)
•
2 bay leaves
•
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups long grain white rice, uncooked
