Ingredients For war butter

  • 1 lb
    butter, soft
  • 2 c
    cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    unflavored gelatin

How To Make war butter

  • 1
    Cream butter with a fork.
  • 2
    Use 2T of the cream to soak the gelatin.
  • 3
    Heat the rest of the cream in a saucepan. Pour the warm cream over soaked gelatin and stir well.

    Beat cream mixture into butter and salt to taste.
  • 5
    Pour into a bowl and refrigerate until hard.
