My cousin Linda from Tulsa, OK first made this many years ago. I requested the recipe and have been making it for office parties and family gatherings ever since. It is often requested by my co-workers. It is simple and inexpensive to make and so yummy! Great with crackers or veggies.

Ingredients For tuna pate

1 cancan tuna in oil, 6-oz size

1 stickbutter or margarine, softened

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

1/2 tsptarragon, dried
-
1 smonion, finely minced
-
1 Tbsplemon juice, fresh

chives for garnish, optional
How To Make tuna pate

1Drain tuna. Blend with remaining ingredients except chives. Mix well with an electric mixer (very important!). Turn into serving dish; top with chives and chill until firm. Note: Tuna in water in not recommended. Makes about 3 cups.
