How To Make the best tuna melt - my way

  • 1
Drain the tuna very well. (this is very important).
  • 2
In a small bowl; blend all of the ingredients. Except the bread and butter.
  • 3
Spread about 1/4 to 1/2 cup on 4 slices of bread.
  • 4
Top with remaining 4 slices of bread. I then take 3 - 4 tablespoons of butter and zap it in the microwave for a few seconds, just long enough to soften to spreadable consistency. Spread each side of the bread.
  • 5
Over medium heat; on a griddle or I use an iron skillet, brown each side of the sandwich 4 - 5 minutes per side.

These are so good. Sometimes I add a dash of cayenne pepper to them, for an extra kick..
