This is my absolute favorite sandwiches with a yummy bowl of soup! If you like Tuna melts..you will love this...so good! My pictures.

Ingredients For the best tuna melt - my way

1 can( 5 - 6 ounces ) white albacore tuna, drained very well. i use a small holed collander and press the tuna till no liquid remains, then flake the tuna

1/2 - 3/4 cshredded swiss cheese

1/4 - 1/2 csour cream
-
1/4 - 1/2 cmayonnaise

1/4 conion, chopped
-
1/4 ccelery, chopped

salt and pepper, however much you like

8 slicebread, your choice..i like this on rye, but used italian today

butter, softened to spread on the bread
How To Make the best tuna melt - my way

1Drain the tuna very well. (this is very important).

2In a small bowl; blend all of the ingredients. Except the bread and butter.

3Spread about 1/4 to 1/2 cup on 4 slices of bread.

4Top with remaining 4 slices of bread. I then take 3 - 4 tablespoons of butter and zap it in the microwave for a few seconds, just long enough to soften to spreadable consistency. Spread each side of the bread.

5Over medium heat; on a griddle or I use an iron skillet, brown each side of the sandwich 4 - 5 minutes per side.

6These are so good. Sometimes I add a dash of cayenne pepper to them, for an extra kick..
