Ingredients For starwberry butter

  • 1 c
    (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 sm
    pinch ground himalayan sea salt
  • 1/2 c
    fresh strawberries, washed, dried, hulled and coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more if needed

How To Make starwberry butter

  • 1
    In a tall stainless bowl such as a bowl of a stand mixer, combine butter, sugar and sea salt. Using a hand mixer with the whisk attachment on, process for 4 to 5 minutes to incorporate enough air in the butter.

    Add strawberries and lemon juice. Switch attachment for beaters and process for 5-6 minutes. Taste and adjust; if needed add more lemon juice. Transfer to silicone mold and place in the freezer until hard. Unmold the butter squares and transfer to a plastic freezer bag or container. Makes 16 oz. of butter
