I love pesto,I make it out of basil,spinach and cilantro.I love to spread it on french bread with cream cheese,mix it into pasta with or without grilled shrimp,top it on grilled steak or chicken, spread it on pizza,it's good on anything!

Ingredients For spinach pesto

2 c firmly packed fresh spinach

1 c firmly packed fresh basil

1 c grated parmesan cheese

1/2 c chopped pine nuts

1 c olive oil

10 cloves garlic,chopped

1/2 t. salt

1/4 t. pepper
-
1/4 t. crushed red pepper flakes
How To Make spinach pesto

1Place all ingredients in a food processor. Cover and process about 3 minutes or until finely chopped and smooth,stopping occasionally to scrape sides. Place in jars with a tight fitting lid. Keep in refrigerator up to 3 days or freeze in ice cubes up to 3 months.
