This is an excellent sauce to serve with most any type of fish, and it makes an excellent spread for a yummy fish sandwich. For the best flavor, combine all of the ingredients, and then store in the fridge for a few hours, or overnight. That will give the ingredients a chance to know each other. Ingredients For sauce essentials: yummy parsley/lemon/dill sauce

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise, plain variety
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    dill pickle relish
  • 1 tsp
    fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • white pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • salt, kosher variety, to taste
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper (optional)

How To Make sauce essentials: yummy parsley/lemon/dill sauce

    Gather Your Ingredients (mise en place).

    Add all of the ingredients to a bowl.

    Chef's Tip: To keep the sauce/spread from getting too thin, squeeze out most of the juice from the pickle relish.

    Mix together, and then test for proper seasoning.

    Chef’s Tip: Obviously, the mayonnaise is the main ingredient in this sauce/spread, so pick one that you realty like. If stored in a sealed container in the fridge it should last 7 to 10 days.
