The In-N-Out burger is very simple: buns, American cheese, yellow onion, iceberg lettuce, beefsteak tomato, 80/20 ground chuck pounded into 1/4-inch patties and cooked for about a minute on each side. The real appeal is the special sauce.

As close as I can get it without knocking on their door and asking for the recipe, here you go.

Even if it is not an In N Out sauce, it is still pretty dang good.
