easy, tasty pupu made with deviled ham. Make it the day before party, refrigerate overnight. Next day just spread on cute little bread slices.

Ingredients For ham and mushroom pate

  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1/4 lb
    mushrooms, coarsely chopped
  • 2 can
    underwood deviled ham (4-1/2 oz each)
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese ( 3-oz)
  • party bread slices (i prefer rye)

How To Make ham and mushroom pate

    Melt butter in a skillet and saute mushrooms over medium heat till soft.

    In bowl combine deviled ham and cream cheese; blend well. Stir in sauteed mushrooms. Cover and chill overnight.

    Spread on party bread slices and plate. Garnish with tiny parsley sprigs or finely chopped green onion, if you like, just for color.
