Ingredients For french quarter cheese spread

1 pkgcream cheese, softened (8 ounces)

1 Tbspgrated onion

1 clovegarlic, minced

1/4 cbutter, cubed

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 tspworcestershire sauce

1/2 tspprepared mustard

1 cpecans, finely chopped and toasted
How To Make french quarter cheese spread

1In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, onion and garlic, Transfer to a serving plate; shape into a 6-in. disk. Set aside.

2In a small saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Cook and stir over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat; stir in pecans.

3Cool slightly. Spoon over cheese mixture. Serve with crackers.
