We love recipes that look fancy but are really simple. This blackberry cream cheese spread is just that - impressive to look at, but quick and delicious! Great as an appetizer or hostess gift, serve it on crostini or crackers with a glass of red zinfandel, or even french toast for breakfast. Set some honey nearby and let family or guests drizzle a little honey on top for some extra sweetness.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This is easy to prepare but will impress your family and friends. It has citrus undertones from the lemon zest and is slightly sweet. The blackberries add a nice flavor and color. We loved this spread on toast, but it is very versatile. Smear it on warm pancakes, biscuits, bagels or a croissant. As a bonus, it can easily be made ahead and set out on a breakfast table for everyone to enjoy. Super yummy!
