Ingredients For beef liver pate

  • 8 oz
    beef liver chopped
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    onion chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic
  • 4 oz
    whipped cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh sage
  • 2 Tbsp
    drained capers
  • 2 Tbsp
    sweet relish
  • 2
    hard boiled eggs peeled
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make beef liver pate

  • 1
    Add the butter to a skillet. When the butter has melted add the onions and liver. Cook until liver is done. Add the minced garlic and cook 30 seconds.

    Transfer to a food processor and add the cream cheese, heavy cream sage and hard boiled eggs. Process until smooth.

    Stir in the caper and relish. taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Serve on crackers or crusty bread.
