I love making my own spice mixes, because I can choose exactly the ingredients I want. This is a great spice mix for anything Mediterranean. I will give you a list of possible cooking ideas later in the recipe. It is easy/peasy to put together and contains wonderful flavor. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

What will you need? I like to give the ingredients a quick spin in a spice grinder. However, if you crush up the rosemary, you probably do not need to do anything but mix up all the dry spices and place them in a good jar.

How to store it? If I am making a dry spice, I love to use old spice bottles that I have run through the dishwasher. In addition, I love using Weck jars. They are glass, come in all sizes and shapes, and have excellent tight-fitting lids. If you shop online, you can go to Amazon, type in “Weck Jars” and you will find a ton of them. They last forever, unless you break them, and they are very reasonable, price wise. Dry spices should be kept in a cool space, away from sunlight (spice cabinet). If properly stored, this spice should last 12 – 14 months.
