ranch seasoning mix

Too many recipes (and salads) require ranch seasoning packets from the store, and I used to buy them! Then recently I figured out I was paying $2 for 2 Tbsp of seasoning, when I could make a pint at home for the same price. After trial and error, this is what we've come up with.

Ingredients For ranch seasoning mix

  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk powder
  • 1 tsp
    dried chives
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried tarragon
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1 tsp
    dehydrated onion flakes
  • 2 tsp
    dried dill
  • 3 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    onion powder

How To Make ranch seasoning mix

  • 1.5 pint jar with doubled recipe Ranch Seasoning mix.

    shake well, and shake before every use.

    TO USE THIS MIX: For seasoning: 2 Tbsp is equal to one packet of ranch seasoning For dressing: 1 Tbsp ranch mix, 1/2c Mayonnaise, 1/2 c milk. Mix well; refrigerate 1/2 hour before use. For dip: 2 Tbsp ranch mix, 16 oz of sour cream. Mix well; refrigerate 1/2 hour before use.
