I love this stuff and use it almost daily on just about everything (I haven't put any in my coffee yet). Making it at home is less expensive and avoids things like "spice extracts" and salt. If you want to add the salt the amount is 8 Tbsp.

Ingredients For montreal steak seasoning

  • 2 Tbsp
    whole black peppercorns
  • 2 Tbsp
    dehydrated onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    smoked spanish paprika (or regular)
  • 2 Tbsp
    dehydrated garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried thyme
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried rosemary
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    coriander seed

How To Make montreal steak seasoning

    Place all ingredients into a spice grinder or blender and pulse a couple times to coarsely grind. Place in airtight, lidded jar and store in cool dry place.

    Shake on meat prior to grilling for excellent favor! I also use in in sandwich's. eggs, on cheese, in cole slaw, pretty much anything.
