1 Tbspgarlic powder

1 Tbspbrown sugar (substitute coconut sugar)

2 tspcayenne pepper

2 tsponion powder

2 tspground himalayan sea salt

1 1/2 tspground thyme

1 tspground ginger

1 tspground allspice

1 tspsmoked paprika

1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper, or to taste

1/2 tspred pepper flakes

1/2 tspground nutmeg

1/4 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspground cloves
How To Make jamaican jerk seasoning

1Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Transfer to an airtight container. Yields 6 1/2 tbsp.

2To make a rub; use 2 tbsp. of canola oil or other flavorless oil with 2 1/2 tbsp. of Jamaican Jerk Seasoning and whisk until well mixed. Apply generously on protein of your choice.
