This is a delightful blend used in German baking such as Pfeffernüsse or Lebkuchen.

Ingredients For german gingerbread spice • lebkuchenwÜrz

  • 2 Tbsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 3/4 tsp
    allspice
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground mace
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg

    In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and whisk until nicely blended.
