One of the dips I made to keep everyone satisfied until the turkey is served tomorrow. I kept the seasoning mild in mine, as some can't eat spicy. Season to your liking. Enjoy!

Ingredients For sweet onion dip / salsa

  • 1 md
    sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1 sm
    can, chopped black olives, drained
  • 1 lg
    tomato, chopped fine
  • 3 Tbsp
    fine chopped, green chile - i used poblano
  • 4 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    chopped, fresh parsley
  • salt
    & pepper to taste
  • dash
    tobasco or to taste
  • add
    cumin, chili powder if desired

How To Make sweet onion dip / salsa

  • 1
    Mix everything together in a medium bowl. Taste and add other seasonings if you prefer. I sometimes add black beans. Chill well, and serve with pita chips or corn chips.
