This recipe was altered by me. I added the Tequila and Triple Sec you don't have to use them and the BBQ sauce is still great. I love the way the alcohol amps up the flavor.

Ingredients For tequila triple sec zesty peach bbq sauce

  • 6 c
    peeled pitted chopped peaches
  • 1 c
    red bell pepper
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 6 clove
    garlic chopped
  • 1 1/4 c
    honey
  • 3/4 c
    cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp
    each red pepper flakes, dry mustard, and salt
  • 1/2 c
    tequila
  • 1/2 c
    triple sec

How To Make tequila triple sec zesty peach bbq sauce

  • 1
    Chop the peaches, red bell pepper, onion and garlic in food processor.
  • 2
    Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer gently for 25 minutes.

    Ladle into 6 8oz. jars and process in water bath for 15 minutes
