spaghetti sauce
This is a spaghetti sauce I've come up with by combing several recipes. This makes a lot of sauce. I serve it over spaghetti and with meatballs. The meatball recipe is also on this website.

Ingredients For spaghetti sauce

1 lblean ground beef

1 lbground sage sausage (i use jimmy dean)

2 tspdried minced garlic

2 tspdried onion

2 canpetite diced tomatoes (14 oz each)

2 cantomato sauce (14 oz each)

1 cantomato paste (small can)

3 Tbspsugar

1 tspkosher salt

1 Tbspdried oregano
-
1 Tbspdried basil
-
2 Tbspdried parsley

1 pkgzesty spaghetti seasoning (i use mccormick's)

2 canwater (use a tomato sauce can)
How To Make spaghetti sauce

1Brown meat with garlic and onion seasonings. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and water. Stir together. Add sugar and remaining seasonings. Stir together. Bring sauce to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for at least 4 hours, stirring occasionally. If sauce gets too thick, add additional water or tomato sauce.
