Ingredients For preserved lemon aioli

  • 1 lg
    egg yolk
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    lemon juice, +more if needed
  • 1 clove
    garlice, mashed
  • salt
  • 5 oz
    canola oil
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    preserved lemon, finely chopped

How To Make preserved lemon aioli

  • 1
    In a medium bowl, whisk together yolk, lemon juice, garlic and salt. While whisking, add canola oil a few drops at a time. When it turns foamy and starts to thicken, start pouring oil in a stream. Once canola oil is incorporated; slowly whisk in the olive oil.

    Add 1 TBS preserved lemon, mix in and taste. Adjust with more lemon juice, preserved lemon and salt as desired.
