Ingredients For plum chutney

  • 1 lb
    plums, cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1/2 md
    red onion, chopped
  • 1/2
    jalapeño pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 3/4 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    ginger
  • 1/4 c
    water

How To Make plum chutney

  • 1
    To skillet add oil; onion and jalapeno; cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Increase heat to med-hi, add plums, sugar, vinegar, curry powder, ginger and water. Bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer, and cook until plums are softened and liquid is slightly syrupy, about 8 minutes.
