Ingredients For plum catsup

  • 1 gal
    plums
  • 1 qt
    water
  • 2 lb
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    allspice
  • 1 tsp
    cloves

How To Make plum catsup

  • 1
    Wash and drain plums. Cover with water and cook slowly until tender; press through sieve, rubbing through as much pulp as possible.

    To the plums add sugar and seasonings. Simmer and when the consistency of catsup, put into jars or bottles.
