Ingredients For cranberry pear relish

1 mdnavel orange

4 mdpears, peeled and coarsely chopped

12 ozfresh or frozen cranberries

1 cpacked brown sugar

1 tspgrated orange peel
-
1/2 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspground ginger or 1 tsp grated fresh gingerroot

1/8 tspground allspice
How To Make cranberry pear relish

1Squeeze juice from the orange, removing the seeds; add enough water to measure 1/2 cup. Pour into a saucepan; add all the remaining ingredients.

2Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes or until the cranberries pop and mixture is thickened. Cool mixture and cover, storing in the refrigerator.
