Ingredients For cabernet sauce

  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    cabernet sauvignon
  • 1 1/2 c
    beef broth
  • 1 pkg
    knorr's homestyle concentrated beef stock
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    browning sauce like gravy master

How To Make cabernet sauce

  • 1
    Heat butter in skillet and add flour to make a roux and cook 1 minute.

    Add the cabernet, beef broth, and beef stock. Let simmer and reduce by half stirring occassionally
  • 3
    Add heavy cream and butter whisking constantly. Stir in browning sauce. Serve over meat
