~ garlic buttermilk ranch dressing ~

I threw this dressing together on a whim, when discovered I was fresh out. Needed some in a hurry, so this is what I came up with. The family loved it. It should be prepared a few hours ahead for the flavors to mesh. Use as a dressing, or a dip as I did. Enjoy!

Ingredients For ~ garlic buttermilk ranch dressing ~

  • 3/4 c
    hellmanns mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 2 - 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    minced, sweet onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • salt
    to taste
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • red
    pepper flakes - optional - we like heat

How To Make ~ garlic buttermilk ranch dressing ~

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl, whisk until well combined. Taste to see if needs more seasoning. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
