I love slaw. My family loves slaw. I have, at minimum, eight different variations that are all favorites at my house. This one is a twist on a recipe used at a local BBQ place we enjoy. Hope you enjoy it, too.

Ingredients For beth's sweet and tangy coleslaw

1 16-oz pkgcoleslaw mix

1/2 csugar

1/4 cwhite vinegar

1 chalf and half
-
1 cmayonnaise
-
2 Tbsphorseradish sauce

1/2 tspdry mustard
-
to tastesalt and pepper
-
2 Tbsponion flakes (or 1/4 c. finely diced, fresh)
How To Make beth's sweet and tangy coleslaw

1Combine vinegar and half and half in large jar. Allow to sit 10 minutes.

2Add all other ingredients except coke slaw mix to jar. Shake until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate at least 3 hours.

3Pour chilled dressing over slaw mix and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight. Stir well before serving.
