1000 island dressing

I've been making this dressing like this for more years than I care to admit. It was given to me by someone who was born in the late 1800's! So it's been around a while for sure! It's so easy to make you never need spend money for bottled dressing again! Great on salads, Rueben sandwiches, hamburgers, and great as a dip for French fries too!

Ingredients For 1000 island dressing

  • 1 c
    mayonnaise, i use best foods
  • 4 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 4 lg
    finely chopped hard boiled egg
  • 4 Tbsp
    sweet relish
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1` tsp
    worcestershire sauce

How To Make 1000 island dressing

    In small bowl combine mayo and ketchup stir to combine. Add sweet relish, minced onion, and chopped hardboiled egg, stir to combine. Stir in Worcestershire sauce.

    Store in airtight container in fridge till your ready to serve. Taste best if made the night before you plan on using it for best flavor.
