So yummy, and I made it healthier by using lower fat ground turkey meat, but you can use leand ground beef. And this is all microwaved, so it's quick to make.

Ingredients For taco salad dip

  • 1/2 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1/4 c
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    16 oz can refried beans
  • 1
    8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 2 tsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 c
    light sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/8 tsp
    chili powder
  • finely shredded lettuce

How To Make taco salad dip

    In microwave safe bowl, micro ground turkey 1 min, crumble, microwave until cooked. Stir in green bell pepper, onion, beans, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, hot pepper sauce and garlic. stir to combine.

    Cover and microwave 4 mins. Spread mix into a microwave safe 9" pie plate. Cover and microwave 4 mins.

    In small bowl, mix together sour cream, 1 tbsp cheese and chili powder. Spread over mix in pie plate. Sprinkle w/ lettuce and remaining cheese. Serve w/ tortilla chips.
