I had originally gotten the bases from a guy on here, but did a little research and as well some science in my kitchen and after a couple explosions I've finally critiqued and finalized what is told to be the best BBQ sauce!

How To Make sweet baby rays faux bbq sauce

  • 1
Whisk all the ingredients in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Once everything is mixed bring that pan to a boil. Once you have reached a consistent boil reduce heat & simmer for 5 mins or until the sugar is dissolved.

For a thicker sauce add the corn starch & water. Now from my experience with testing this out I've noticed the longer you boil after adding the corn starch and water the thicker it will get! You don't have to keep adding more cornstarch and water unless you fancy that! Once added bring to a boil and after a consistent boil simmer up to 15 mins or until desired thickness. Note while cooling the sauce thickens as well.

Serve Immediately, or cover and store in fridge. Note that there aren't any preservatives to help prolong the sauce so you can bottle it package it and put in the freezer, and when you want to use it at a latter time or day just simply remove and thaw in your fridge!
