These spicy wings have a great cooling dipping sauce to counter the spiciness very well.

Ingredients For spicy wings w/ cooling dipping sauce

  • 2 lb
    chicken wings, tips discarded
  • oil for frying
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    franks hot pepper sauce, or more if you like really spicy wings
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream, i used light
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise, i used light
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh basil, snipped
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, snipped
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk

How To Make spicy wings w/ cooling dipping sauce

    Rinse chicken and pat dry. Heat aboutl 1/2" oil, or more as needed in lg pot over med-high heat. Fry chicken for about 10 mins.

    Fry in batches if you must. Drain on paper towels. Place chicken in a baking dish and place in oven at 300 degrees to keep warm.

    Melt butter in saucepan, stir in hot sauce. Pour sauce over wings and stir to coat. In bowl, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, basil, parsley and milk until combined well. Serve w/ wings.
