This dip is delicious & satisfying, one of my families favorites...always a hit at parties and makes a great tailgate treat! Enjoy!

Ingredients For oh so good - taco dip

  • 12 oz
    softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp
    diced, fresh jalapeno pepper - i use red and green
  • 1/2 c
    salsa
  • 2 c
    lettuce, shredded
  • 4 oz
    each - fresh shredded monterey jack cheese & shredded, cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    each - diced tomatoes & sliced green onions
  • 1/4 c
    sliced, black olives
  • tortilla
    chips for dipping

How To Make oh so good - taco dip

  • 1
    In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, spices and jalapeno peppers. Make sure it's mixed well.

    Stir in the salsa.

    On a platter spread out the shredded lettuce ad spread on the cream cheese mixture, evenly.

    Top with cheese, tomatoes, olives, green onions.

    Serve with your favorite tortilla or corn chips. Delicious!!!
