This is a Hawaiian-style hummus that is great to use as a spread on thinly sliced snack bread or as a dip for vegetables.

    roasted macadamia nuts
  • 2 c
    garbanzo beans, drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic

    basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
