The first time I tasted guacamole I didn't know what other ingredients were in it besides avocados, and this was way before the internet age where you can look up anything. But because I am blessed with a gift of usually being able to guess what goes into a dish and how it is made by tasting it, and since I am from the middle east I thought that the spices in guacamole tasted a lot like what we add to our tahini. And that's how I arrived at this recipe which we all love.
