My dear friend CinStraw was wondering why I didn't have a Chocolate BBQ Sauce.... So I came up with my version...... Ingredients For fireman bob's chocolate bbq sauce my way......

  • 1 lg
    hersey's dark chocolate - melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter - melted
  • 5 clove
    garlic - minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    sugar - white
  • 1/8 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes or to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    paprika - sweet mild
  • 3 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    tomato sauce
  • 8 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 4 lg
    lemons - juiced - and seeded
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp
    cilantro - chopped fine
  • 1 tsp
    course sea salt - or to taste
  • 1 tsp
    fresh cracked black pepper - or to taste

How To Make fireman bob's chocolate bbq sauce my way......

  • 1
    Melt the chocolate and butter in a saucepan on low heat. Add the garlic, onion powder, sugar, and red pepper flakes. Stir till garlic gets soft. About 8 minutes Add the paprika, vinegar, tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, cumin, cinnamon, and cilantro. Let cook 10 minutes stirring constantly and adding salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
