I have to keep this in my house at all times my grandsons drink Chocolate milk everyday and my husband pours it over his Coffee Ice Cream.

Ingredients For chocolate syrup

  • 1/2 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    water
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make chocolate syrup

  • 1
    Mix the cocoa powder and the water in a saucepan.Heat and stir to dissolve the cocoa.

    add the sugar, stir until dissolved
  • 3
    bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 3 minutes. Be careful it will boil over!

    After 3 mins sit the pan off heat and add the salt and vanilla.
  • 5
    Let cool and pour in a glass container. Store in refrigerator. Will keep for 2 months.
