Ingredients For sweet heat breakfast salsa

  • 28 oz
    can tomatillos
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • **heat source, see note below
  • **peach or apricot or plum jelly

How To Make sweet heat breakfast salsa

    For heat use any hot pepper you like(jalapeno, habanero, etc) or rehydrate about 5 chile de arbol, stems removed. Place pepper(s) in food processor with tomatillos, about half the juice, granulated garlic and fresh cilantro. Puree.

    Now add equal amounts of salsa verde and jelly in a sauce pan for about 5 min, or until jelly becomes liquid. I normally use 1 c of each.
